Programmer & Mobile App Developer


Leading  security company at Muscat  seeking a talented and motivated Programmer & Mobile App Developer to join our growing team in Muscat. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, high-performance applications across mobile and web platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative digital solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Software Development

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

  • Debug and optimize existing software solutions.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Mobile App Development

  • Design and develop native and hybrid mobile applications for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).

  • Utilize cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin.

  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services.

  • Ensure mobile apps meet performance, security, and compatibility standards.

  • Manage app deployment on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes and code reviews.

  • Continuously research and adopt new technologies and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Programming Proficiency:

    • Android: Java, Kotlin

    • iOS: Swift, Objective-C

    • Additional: JavaScript, Python, C# (optional)

  • Mobile App Tools:

    • Android Studio, Xcode

    • Cross-platform: Flutter, React Native, Xamarin

  • Backend & Integration:

    • RESTful APIs, Firebase, GraphQL, JSON, WebSockets

  • Web Development (Bonus):

    • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js

  • Database Knowledge:

    • SQL (MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase)

  • Version Control:

    • Git, GitHub/GitLab

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, teamwork, adaptability, and a passion for technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML, IoT, or AR/VR integrations.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Fastlane).

  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles and design patterns.

  • Portfolio of published or freelance mobile/web applications.
